32Red Casino's status as the best online casino has been confirmed thanks to their winning of 'The Best Casino of 2011 – Global' award for an incredible ninth time.
The award itself has only been handed out eleven times in total and was won by Kiwi Casino and InterCasino before 32Red first got their hands on it in 2003. Since then they've gone on to dominate the category by winning it every year, although they did have to make do with sharing it with Club USA in 2008/2009 and with 3Dice in 2010.
Comments on the 32Red published by the Casinomeister included referring to the casino as 'simply unsurpassable', 'unique' and 'head and shoulders' above the rest’.
32Red also won awards for 'Best Casino Group' and their casino manager Pat Harrison won 'Best Casino Manager' for the fourth time.
Also featuring in the awards were Betfair – although their mention wasn't quite as favourable. Betfair were named the 'Biggest Disappointment of 2011' due in part to an issue with a Leopardstown horse race where the sports exchange allowed one punter with £1,000 in his account to match bets worth many thousands.
The Casinomeister Awards, now in their eleventh year, were created to recognise the best and worst of online casinos from the point of view of players and industry professionals. They continue to be most prestigious and come before the majority of industry awards ceremonies, many of which are taking place this week.
