Wednesday night saw the 7th annual EGR Awards take place in London. The awards are those of eGaming Review, an online gambling industry magazine.
The awards are designed to recognise the best of the online gambling world with a large number of awards for specific areas of the industry.
A large number of the online casino operators from sites featured here at CasinoOnline.co.uk were out in force with 32Red, Betfair, William Hill, Ladbrokes, bwin.party, bet365 and many others present.
When it came to specific awards, the online casino operator of the year was a big one and it wasn't a massive surprise when it went to 32Red Casino. 32Red's CEO Ed Ware was on hand to collect the award himself for the Gibraltar-based casino.
Betfair also ended the year on a high note by picking up the mobile operator of the year award. This was all before the last award of the night went to William Hill Online.
Hills had been nominated for 12 different awards but missed out on all of them but the prestigious operator of the year award.
These three casino operators being celebrated was no real surprise to us as we know that they're pretty good at what they do. All we hope is that they continue to do it!
