Atlantic City Casinos
After a few weeks of blogging about things to do and casinos in Las Vegas, we felt particularly bad for a humble area of New Jersey. In case you haven’t guessed from the title of this blog, we feel rather rude for leaving out Atlantic City in our recent blog posts and have decided to redress this issue, by writing about the best casinos in Atlantic City.
Sure, some might not consider it as thrilling or exciting as Las Vegas, but we reckon over the next few years, Atlantic City will come to be recognised as a leading gaming destination. What makes us think twice about Atlantic City?
Well, we must admit that Kevin DeSanctis, Chief Executive of Revel Entertainment LLC, latest comments about the future of the city have worked wonders on us. DeSanctis suggested that developers looking to build casinos in Atlantic City should consider creating “resort-like properties” as for DeSanctis "gaming is no longer a differentiator, we’re in the business of providing experiences to people."
We reckon that Atlantic City already offers a few great casinos and although they might not beat the big names in Vegas, they certainly give them a run for their money! Below you’ll find what we think are the best Atlantic City Casinos:
Bally’s Casino
Bally’s Casino is located on Atlantic City’s Boardwalk, which is where you’ll find all of the top casinos in the city. Not only can you play games at the casino (unsurprisingly!) you can also stay in the resort’s superb hotel accommodation and even dine at the resort. To take a virtual tour of the Bally’s Atlantic City Casino, visit the Bally's website
Tropicana Casino and Resort
Tropicana Casino is one of the unsung heroes of Atlantic City, but is highly recommended if you favour slot machines. Like Bally’s, you can also stop in the Tropicana resort and you can even visit the spa, which features an apothecary packed with creams that even Oprah (or Oprah’s Magazine) enjoys.
Trump Taj Mahal
The Trump Taj Mahal is perfect for high rollers who are looking for a few added extras from their chosen casino. At Trump Taj Mahal, not only can you dine in one of their 5 star restaurants, you can also choose to stay in the Chairman, Regal and Penthouse suites, which offer the ultimate in luxury.
