At Mr Lucky’s, a restaurant in the Hard Rock Casino, you can buy dinner for just $7.77, which consists of steak, shrimp and potatoes. To purchase this grand feast, just ask for the 777 meal.
The Atomic Testing Museum
If you fancy taking a break from the casinos, we recommend you head off the beaten track and visit the Atomic Testing museum, located on E Flamingo Road. The museum charges a $7-$10 entry fee, but it’s definitely worth it. You’ll find information about Nevada’s history as nuclear test site and also learn a lot about Las Vegas along the way. The museum also runs family fun days, such as the upcoming Journey Through Japan day, where you can explore Japanese culture for just $5.
Las Vegas Contemporary Arts Center
In a city that’s considered by some as bold, brass and maybe even vulgar, it might surprise you to learn that Las Vegas has a thriving art community. According to their website, Las Vegas’ Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) has “a dynamic history of promoting contemporary art through avant-garde exhibitions” in Vegas and at the moment, you can catch their “Dark” art exhibition, which runs from August the 6th until September the 24th.
