There were a few surprises to be seen in a list of the most popular casino websites released recently.
Most surprising to us was the omission of 32Red casino which continues to be a player favourite. Topping the list was 888 with William Hill, Betfair, Ladbrokes and bet365 all included in the list.
The list was researched and collected by Experian Hitwise who ranked the casino websites in order of their percentage share of visits in November 2011. 888 topped the list by some way with 22.46% ahead of Sky Vegas who had 9.93%.
Making up the rest of the top five was William Hill, Betfair and Ladbrokes while bet365 came in at sixth. The inclusion of these casinos came as little surprise. They continue to offer an outstanding service as you can see from the glowing reviews here at CasinoOnline.co.uk.
Completing the list were two casino websites that we weren't so sure about. These were Yazino and GameVillage which received 1.67% and 1.46% of the visits respectively.
Also making an appearance in the top ten was Bodog who became the first online casino to receive a new UK license to offer their services to UK residents. Completing the line up was Home Casino Game who came in seventh.
