Caesars bingo has managed to lose thousands of pounds after making a mistake on the terms of their latest welcome bonus. The bonus was a 200% deposit match bonuses and was worth up to £400. However, rather than having to wager all of your deposit before being able to withdraw, Caesars was allowing players to withdraw bonus winnings without wagering.
The exact amount lost by the company isn't known but one family claimed to have made £3,000 from the mistake. They had told all of their friends and family, one of whom was able to pay for his wedding thanks to the money he made.
This isn't the first time that an issue such as this has occurred. In fact, Betfair had had a similar problem in the last year but where Caesars paid out to all of the winners, Betfair did not. The Betfair issue was concerning their casino product and rather than accepting that they made a mistake, the Malta based company claimed that those who took advantage of the bonus were not entering into the spirit of the bonus. Their winnings were therefore taken away from them with many player accounts being suspended.
This behaviour caused outrage among many Betfair casino players with some choosing to take their online casino play elsewhere. In order to not suffer a similar fate, Caesars have chosen to honour the bonus and its mistake and in doing so, may be showing the Betfair casino management how they should have reacted.
