Online casino operators 888 have agreed a new deal with land based casino operators Caesars Interactive Entertainment to supply them with software.

The deal is an addition to a current agreement which allows 888 to provide casino and poker software to Caesars' UK facing products. However the provision of software will now extend to US products once online gambling is licensed in the country – an issue which continues to attract plenty of attention.

Unfortunately for US online casino players the deal will most likely be brought into action for online poker. This is due to the impending legislation in various states which will allow poker to be played online.

The move leaves 888 – operating under their B2B branch as Dragonfish – ideally placed to begin accepting US poker players as soon as legislation comes into effect.

However 888 Casino fans in the US will have to remain patient as it could take considerable longer until US online casinos are regulated.

Speaking about the deal, 888 chairman Brian Mattingley said: "We are delighted to be extending our relationship into the much-anticipated US market."
