Those familiar with Coronation Street, the popular ITV soap-opera, will be aware of the unfortunate times that characters Steve and Becky have been through recently. However, it appears as if their luck has changed as a trip to the Weatherfield casino with friends Lloyd and Cheryl sees them go home £5,000 richer.
Although the couple have been through enough tough times in the recent past to last them a life time, Steve considers anonymously giving it away to someone even more in need than himself. Needless to say, Becky and the others are not best impressed with this crisis of conscience.
Steve and Becky’s win came while playing on the blackjack and roulette tables at the casino and can be seen today (Monday February 21).
