Betfair
Betfair's most recent financial figures show an overall decline in revenue from the same period but there are certainly some positives for the Hammersmith-based firm. The main strong point is an impressive 94% increase in the use of Betfair's mobile betting product.
This 94% increase is concerning the number of bets made as they increased to 7.4 million while mobile revenue was up 78% to £4.2 million. With figures such of these, don't be surprised to see Betfair place more emphasis on their mobile products. As a result of this, there must surely be plans for a Betfair Mobile Casino.
Given Betfair's usual insistence at being the cutting edge of technology, we have always found it strange that they don't operate their own mobile casino. However, perhaps these strong mobile sports betting figures are the extra push needed in order for us to see a new mobile casino product.
Should Betfair be able effectively transform their impressive slots and extra games onto a mobile format then they're sure to be onto a winner. After all, who wouldn't want to play Gladiator, Pink Panther and many other games from the palm of your hand.
