Casino Royale
Casino Royale, Ian Fleming’s first James Bond book, is to be auctioned in South Cerney in Gloucestershire on Thursday and is expected to sell for around £12,000.
The book, which was named the second best gambling book of all time by Casino Online earlier this year, first introduced 007 to fans all over the world in 1953 and will now be sold by Dominic Winter Auctioneers.
The sale will also include other first edition James Bond books such as Live and Let Die, Moonraker and Diamonds Are Forever as well as original Bond posters. Auctioneer Dominic Winter expressed his excitement about the sale of the books and added, “James Bond first editions have always been one of the surest certainties over the last thirty years.”
He added: “The 007 films have helped to draw in thousands of new fans keen to buy in to the James Bond fantasy.”Posted In:
