32Red Casino has been the subject of plenty of blogs here at Casino Online in recent times but it's hard to ignore the Gibraltar-based casino as things continue to go their way.
In fact, as weeks go for online casinos there can't be many, if any, better than that which 32Red experienced in the last seven days. First of all there's the small matter of winning their ninth Casinomeister 'Casino of the Year' award, then the International Gaming Awards prize of 'Online Casino Operator of the Year'.
Next up the company received another positive result, this time in the courts. Last year a legal battle was undertaken regarding the trademark infringement of a number of online casinos owned by William Hill. Casinos such as 32Vegas used the number '32' and as a result were seen as taking advantage of 32Red's brand.
This week Hill's appeal against the original decision was dismissed as the Court of Appeal ruled in favour of 32Red.
Finally the week was topped of with the release of financial figures from 2011 which the company admitted to being 'delighted with'. Revenues were up 48% from 2010 with casino revenues almost doubling in the last two years.
A large help has been the sponsorship deal the online casino struck with Swansea City Football Club who are currently earning plaudits in the Premier League. This increased exposure has clearly spurred the company on as CEO Ed Ware revealed.
He said: "2011 has been another year of progress and the sustained top line growth is encouragement to continue to invest in marketing the 32Red brand."
