An Intercasino player has recorded a win of £420,000 after wagering less than £30 on the casino’s Millionaires Club slot. Lorraine McDonald, of Hinckley, Leicestershire, managed to hit the jackpot on Intercasino’s most famous progressive jackpot slot in early November and has described the win as “surreal”.
The mum of three was shocked by her win and, as a casual player at the casino, never expected to hit the jackpot. Lorraine told reporters that she rarely plays at the casino and, after signing up three years ago, hadn’t deposited much. On the night of her win, Lorraine wagered with just £30 before hitting the jackpot and, after the news flashed on her screen, she closed and refreshed the casino.
Lorraine soon believed that there was a “catch” to the win, but after being verified by staff, Intercasino informed Lorraine that she was £420,000 richer. When asked how she would spend the money, Lorraine suggested she’d use the win to offer her family financial security.
