Playboy Club Casino Returns to London

Plenty has changed since the last time anyone could say that a Playboy Club is opening up in London. The original club opened in 1966 and was the only Playboy club to offer casino action to its patrons. Unfortunately things didn't work out too well for the Playboy clubs and the London instalment closed in 1981.

However, those much talked about bunnies are now making a return to Mayfair as the club is due to open on Saturday. As with the previous London club, the Playboy Club will offer a number of gambling options to players. This includes a selection of table games such as American roulette, blackjack, three card poker and punto banco, slots and poker.

It will come as no surprise to anyone that this club is designed to be exclusive and therefore the membership fees and betting values have been decided accordingly. For example, those playing punto banco will be able to bet up to £25,000 per hand while those playing blackjack will be able to bet £5,000.

Much fuss has been created surrounding the return of the club to London but from a purely gambling point of view, we welcome this addition to the city’s casino industry.
