iPhone Apps

If you’ve seen the recent iPhone adverts, you’ll know that whatever you need, from Google Maps to an application which handily works out your restaurant bill (...so a calculator then), or even a pint which slowly decreases as you move the phone, the iPhone has an app for it.

Well, we decided to put Apple’s statement to the test and find out whether they offer any casino related applications. Unsurprisingly, it turns out they do. Here are our top 5 casino related apps. Not all of them are games, but they are the apps which we feel no casino player should be without:

1. Yo Seven

This fun web game is our favourite casino app. Not only is it stylish and bold, it’s also a lot of fun. Essentially it’s an incredibly scaled down version of craps. In Yo Seven, you establish the point number and attempt to roll it again, before you roll a 7. If you’re looking for a iPhone craps app, then Yo Seven is our recommendation.

2. 21 Pro

While Yo Seven may be our top pick, it’s really sharing joint place with 21 Pro, a fantastic blackjack app which is available through the Apple store. 21 Pro looks exactly like the high quality games you’d find in an online casino. This blackjack app is the best of its kind available, so check it out now.

3. iChipDB

iChip isn’t actually a casino game, but is perfect for players who want to read up on casino chips while they’re out and about. iChipDB is a database which lists all of the chip types available at casinos in the States. Not only is it a fun tool, it’s also great for casino chip collectors who want to check out prospective purchases.

4. Texas Hold ‘Em

Apple personally recommend this flagship Texas Hold ‘Em game, which you can purchase through the iTunes store. It’s only £2.99 and is of the same quality of poker games at the likes of PKR. As Apple put it, this game offers “everything that makes Texas Hold’em so wildly popular (and it now) fits in your pocket.”

5. Double Zero Roulette

MyNuMo offer an American roulette game, which features inside and outside bets, as well as a variety of coin denomination options. While the graphics aren’t exactly astounding, Double Zero roulette certainly does the job.
