Both the Swansea City team and fans are celebrating, after they signed the biggest sponsor deal in their history. Swansea City are now sponsored by 32Red Casino and for the next two years, one of the UK’s favourite online casinos will be adorned on player’s and fan’s football t-shirts.
It’s believed that the sponsorship deal amounted to a 6 figure sum and Swansea Vice-Chairman, Leigh Dineen couldn’t hide his delight when speaking to the press. Dineen suggested that the deal “shows how far Swansea City has come” and noted that:
“We saw a number of other major companies express an interest in becoming our main sponsor and there were some very interesting discussions over the course of last season, but 32Red was without doubt the best deal for us.”
32Red are believed to have been discussing sponsorship with a few other clubs, including some in the premiership, but as Dineen noted, Swansea City are now “a Championship club with a Premiership sponsor – and that’s something that we should be very proud of.”
