Angry Gambler Attacks Slot Machine

Slot Machine
A disgruntled gambler at Georgian Downs racetrack and casino in Canada recently let rip at a slot machine. The unnamed gentleman, who is believed to be approaching 70, was apparently annoyed at his run of bad luck in the gambling venue. As opposed to simply leaving the casino, the gentleman punched a slot machine, leading security staff to call the local police forces.
The gentleman was consequently detained and bailed, and is set to appear in Bradford Court later on in the year on charges relating to “mischief” and consuming alcohol in a public place. Police warned the gambler to “behave” himself more in the future.
Of course, this isn’t the first time gamblers have let rip at Georgian Downs. Back in March last year, Paul Kusznirewicz took the casino’s legislators, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, to court, after apparently winning nearly $50 million dollars on a slot. When the jackpot was investigated, casino staff suggested that the maximum Kusznirewicz could have won was $9,000 and the million dollar figure was merely a “programming error”. A similar glitch happened later in the year, with a video poker player expecting a $1 million jackpot but receiving just $5,000. Given the OLG’s slot’s track records, Georgian Downs may wish to invest in some new games soon, in case more frustrated gamblers vent their rage on casino equipment.
