Betfair Signs to Playtech

Over the past few months, we’ve heard an awful lot from Betfair; whether it’s complaining about the blacklisting of their betting exchange and casino in Australia, or causing uproar regarding the Dutch Government’s banning of their site, the latest developments in the Betfair world haven’t been the most positive.

Which is why it brings us great pleasure to announce some good Betfair news; the casino will soon be powered by Playtech technology, meaning players will have the chance to actually download the online casino.

At the moment, Betfair currently only offer a flash based casino, which is powered by Chartwell (much like Coral casino). However, their new deal with Playtech means they’ll offer both a download casino, and their original no-download casino. A recent press release from Playtech suggests an “integrated solution”, meaning that fans of the Chartwell casino games shouldn’t really worry, as it looks like the no-download section of the casino will stay the same, but there will be a brand new download casino available as well, which will be powered by Playtech.

If you’ve never played at a Playtech powered online casino before and wish to test one out, we recommend you check out our Playtech bonus codes section, where you can find out about the bonuses available at Playtech casinos such as Casino Tropez.
