Casino Cashier Stole Thousands

A casino cashier based at Soul Casino in Aberdeen, Scotland, has admitted to stealing £2,500 from the casino whilst he was employed there.

Kevin Maguire, aged 26, admitted to unlawfully embezzling the cash and stealing from his employers, although his sentencing has been deferred as the Judge has asked for background reports on Maguire to be made.

Maguire, who is not the first to steal from the casino, admitted the charge and also that he stole the money between the 15th of October 2008 and 17th of February 2009. While Maguire has yet to be sentenced, he could face a prison sentence and be ordered to pay back the £2,500 stolen.
