Cryptologic Reach Agreement with Paramount Films
PartyGaming recently acquired the rights for Marvel themed casino games, which obviously must have come as quite a blow to Cryptologic, who previously enjoyed exclusivity on Marvel casino games. However, in a recent move, possibly against Partygaming, Cryptologic have announced that they'll be offering Paramount movie themed casino games...just like Partygaming.
While there's much speculation on what Paramount-themed games Cryptologic casinos such as CasinoJoy will offer, the current favourite is a slots game themed around Forrest Gump and recent box office smash, Beowulf. It's as yet unclear whether Cryptologic will offer updated versions of PartyGaming's Terminator and Mission: Impossible slots games, but it's believed that if Party begin offering Spiderman slots, Cryptologic will retaliate by offering improved versions of Party's Paramount slots.
Cryptologic CEO, Brian Hadfield, has said the following about the deal; "Paramount Pictures boasts an extensive catalogue of classic and new releases, and Cryptologic makes the world's best branded Internet casino games. It's been proven that Cryptologic's branded games drive Internet casino revenue - and we look forward to a mutually profitable relationship with this global entertainment leader."
Even though Cryptologic boast they're industry leaders, it now looks like they're playing catch-up to PartyGaming.

What theyll do with Paramount games. I like the party ones, but I reckon Cryptologic can really pull something outta the bag with this one.
