Microgaming Change Online Poker Rules
Microgaming have changed the settings for their online poker rooms, no longer allowing playersto access the past hand histories of their opponents. In order to promote a more relaxed, recreational atmosphere, Microgaming have removed the option to review hand histories, as they can be used to exploit weak spots in other players gameplay.
Gambling Online Magazine has reported that the move will mean players won’t be able to use third-party poker software, such as HandHq.com to analyse their competitors. Microgaming has been quick to suggest that the setting changes haven’t been put in place to punish winners, but to introduce a level playing field for all poker room users.
