Poker Pro’s Ferrari Stolen from Australian Casino

Ferrari F430 Spider
A valet at Crown Casino in Australia has been left feeling red-faced, after it was revealed he handed over the keys to a luxury Ferrari to the wrong customer. Van Marcus, a poker pro who has won thousands of dollars at poker tables across the globe, visited Crown Casino in Melbourne, Victoria and handed over the keys to his plush F430 Spider Ferrari, worth $444,000, to the casino’s valet. While Marcus was still in the casino, the valet handed over the keys to Adam Ramsay, who took the poker player’s Ferrari and dumped it in Coolaroo, on the outskirts of Melbourne.
Crown Casino has insisted they followed procedure, suggesting it may have been the case that Ramsay told the valet he’d forgotten his parking ticket. The valet then allegedly checked his identification and brought Marcus’ Ferrari to him. Ramsay has since been remanded in custody, but Magistrate Peter Couzens slammed Crown Casino’s valet service, calling it a “shoddy system”. This morning, Marcus suggested the following on Facebook: “Well at least I hold the record for the first Ferrari ever stolen in Australia..right outside crown casino Valet lol f*k my life!!”. The poker pro, who moved to Australia from Iraq in 1995, regularly wagers at Crown Casino and lives near the gambling venue.
