Trio Accused of Fixing Slots

Three men in Pennsylvania have been accused of allegedly fixing a slot machine and forcing it to pay out a total of $420,000. The trio, which includes a former police officer, apparently used a slot technician as an unwilling accomplice and altered a slot in the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.

Kerry Laverde, Andre Nestor and Patrick Loushill apparently targeted a slot machine in the “high rollers” area of the casino from June to August this year. It’s believed that in just under 15 trips to the casino, the group managed to net $420,000.

The Washington County District Attorney, Steven Toprani, has alleged that Andre Nestor was the “mastermind” behind the operation. All three men face over 367 charges relating to theft and fraud and a hearing has been scheduled for October the 15th.
