Two men made away with cash from Ann Street Casino in Worthing, Sussex on Tuesday, after holding staff at knifepoint.

The two men entered the casino at around 8PM on Tuesday and are believed by police to have been drinking in the area before the incident. West Sussex Police described one of the men as being around 6ft 4in tall and at the time he was wearing a balaclava, as well as all black clothing including black trainers with three white stripes. They added that this suspect was the one carrying the knife.

The second man involved in the incident has been described at 5ft 9in tall and stocky with a pot belly. At the time, he was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a hooded top and black shoes. West Sussex Police have now released CCTV images of this man in the hope that they might receive some information about the two men.

Detective Inspector Trevor Bates said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw two men acting suspiciously in the area shortly before the incident.”
