In Derby Day there are a variety of betting options; you can choose to bet on the winner, exacta, a place bet (where you bet on which horses will finish first and second), as well as the show, which is a bet on which horse will finish first, second or third. We placed both winner and show bets, mainly on Red Red Wine and Scarlet Ally, bringing our total bet to £11.90 and we won a total of £22.40, with thanks to the lucky horse Scarlet Ally of course.
